The AUG is an Austrian assault rifle chambered in 5.56 mm NATO, created by Steyr-Daimler-Puch in the 1960s. Designed on a Bullpup base, the advantage of this design allows the overall length of the rifle to be reduced. weapon without sacrificing barrel length, thus providing better maneuverability in tight spaces while maintaining accuracy and range of fire.
